Children’s Art Studio

Blue Mouse Gallery is a children’s art studio and gallery. We offer children’s art classes for ages 3-12, family events for all ages, and we specialize in combining German language teaching with art education. On Sunday afternoons, we are open to host birthday parties.

We present children’s art in gallery-style exhibitions to feature artwork that our young artists create during classes. Like Picasso, we truly believe that every child is an artist.

Our children’s art classes support an individual and personal creative process. We combine exploratory skill building with open-ended art projects and invite children to follow their own understanding of beauty. We regularly offer projects that combine art and science, and we encourage our students to develop creativity and curiosity in all areas of learning.

Adults are invited to join our journey. Find your inner artist, widen your horizons, and meet new friends in our adult classes or at family events. If you think art is not your thing: we offer in-person German language classes.

Make Art & Friends

Eva taught both of my children for three years. She is the kind of person that kids are drawn to and want to hug all the time, and yet, she is a strong leader. She is creative, attentive, and takes children and their ideas seriously.

Never expect her to teach just one thing at a time - she constantly creates connections across subjects and will find ways to include music, math, science, or history into any art lesson.

Eva has a gift for building connections with children of all ages within minutes. She instantly gets their attention, awakens their curiosity, and brings out their smiles. In return, she gives them respect, shares her knowledge, teaches new skills, and makes sure everybody has fun. More than a fair deal, I‘d say.
